Extensive testing has shown that even at high concentrations, MycoGlucan® is well-accepted by animals, indicating a positive effect on their preference for the feed. This is crucial for ensuring that supplements intended to enhance immune function and overall health are effectively consumed.
In acceptance tests where pet food was produced with a 14% incorporation of MycoGlucan®, there was a notable preference observed. The acceptance rate for the MycoGlucan-enriched diet was 67%, compared to 50% for the control group, demonstrating animals’ clear preference for diets enhanced with MycoGlucan®.
